Hi! I am Kelly Albrecht.
Welcome to Mama Counselor.
I have the blessing of being both a mama and a counselor. I want to share life, thoughts, and helpful resources with you. This is not just for those currently called, "Mama." My hope is that this is an encouraging space for all who find it.
I was a counselor before I became a Mama and now I specialize my counseling practice working with moms. I have the honor of supporting women through fertility challenges, losses, pregnancy challenges, postpartum difficulties, overwhelm of motherhood, and more. I have received extra training in maternal mental health, marriage/couples counseling, and trauma.
While I have the honor of working with clients of all faith backgrounds, my Christian faith leads me in my daily life and will be weaved throughout what I share. With 3 little boys who keep me on my toes, along with the surprises of military ministry life (my husband is blessed to be a Chaplain in the Airforce), I cling to 2 Corinthians 12:9: "My grace is sufficient for you..." I also laugh through life especially the random places and times my middle child currently chooses to pee.
